Martyrs' Park

Today is a free day, so we decided to take the short taxi ride to Changsha's Martyrs' Park. It was so much fun. It is a beautiful place to walk around and just get out of the hotel for the morning. Our boys would love all of the amusement park rides. We saw the Chinese people playing some interesting games and playing Chinese instruments. The English translations of the Chinese park signs were fun to read as well!

The family in the last picture is the family we are traveling with for this trip. Their new son is such a ball of energy. Ava loves to watch him. We are so glad to have them to hang out with!! The men are out exploring right now. (I think they are in search of another McDonald's.)

Ava is just waking up from her nap... gotta go!

  1. I loved Martyr's Park! It is so much fun...and a nice thing to do when you're tired of being cooped up in the hotel!

There is a McD's not too far from the Dolton. If you go out the front door, go left, then left again at the corner. It's down at the very end of that street (going from memory from Apr. '09, but those should be close directions).

Enjoy every moment! We miss China so bad!
