Changsha to Guangzhou

We said goodbye to the Dolton Hotel and Hunan Province today. We made a quick stop at the Hunan Embroidery Museum first. The work was amazing. We bought some embroidered scarves for Ava and Sydney. After a couple of hours at the Changsha airport, we flew on a EMB-145 (a plane Jay used to fly) to Guangzhou. It was only about an hour flight. Ava has turned into a wiggly worm, and insisted on playing with the air vent, the barf bag, and the window shade the whole way. We are so happy to see her so active and happy! Daddy even managed to get her to laugh at him a few times.

Shamian Island is neat. We can't wait to see it in the daylight. The Victory Hotel is amazing. Our room is a Japanese style suite complete with a living room, a desktop computer, 2 bathrooms, and 2 showers. It is ridiculously big. We've only tripped a few times on the step up into the bedroom. Good thing Ava isn't walking yet! ;)

It's late right now, and Ava has to get her vaccinations in the morning... sniff, sniff. Hopefully that goes well. After that we have 3 days to kill before our consulate appointment. Sounds like a couple of shopping days are on the agenda!
